Twitter posts aren't always the unfiltered thoughts of the celebrities posting them. Those stars can get paid big bucks for those tweets as well. Here's a sample of some paid tweets. All included the characters "ad" at the end to indicate they were a paid advertisement:

_Lamar Odom: "My man Jay-Z...only rapper to rewrite history without a pen. Until now. Check out Jay's new book Decoded on Bing."
_Snoop Dogg: "These homies know the deal. Wonder if this swagger wagon can fit 22's? SPINNIN!" (With a link to a commercial for the Toyota Sienna minivan.)
_Terrell Owens: "Free flight, VIP access, $1500 in ur pocket and. football! Comfort Inn is hooking up 3 days of it! Check it out." (With a link to the hotel chain's contest for football tickets.)
