One of the most common complaints about backpacking guitars is the quality of the sound you get from them. Due to their small size (to make them easily transportable) you just don?t get that strong rich sound you get from its full sized cousin.
Recently I got my sticky paws on the Amigo AMT-10 which is one of the better backpacker guitars. Priced at less than $100 it won?t break the bank (or your heart if you lose it out on the road). The frets on this guitar are quite small which can take a little getting used to but overall it has a really nice feel. The sounds not bad either and for the price you could do a lot worst.
So if you?re planning to hit the road anytime soon grab yourself an AMT-10 and some good guitar tuition software and you will be all set to jam your way to who knows where.
