US job moves: YouTube, Facebook, Ford, Island Def Jam

Once again we've put together the most senior and influential job moves in the US.

This time we cover a major move from Microsoft to YouTube, another Acqui-hire by Facebook, a new position for former New York Times Company president and CEO and a loss for Pepsi to Ford.

YouTube has hired Bing's general marketing manager, Danielle Tiedt, to become their new VP of marketing. Tiedt, who worked for Microsoft since before Bing launched, recently led the ad campaign, "Bing is for Doing.

Facebook has acquired Momentus Media and is appointing Momentus's CEO, Chris Turitzin to lead growth projects at Facebook while co-founder Carina Koo will take the lead at Momentus.

Fleishman-Hillard is being joined by former New York Times Company president and CEO, Janet Robinson, who will sit on their International Advisory Board.

The Ford Motor Company recently hired Joe Jacuzzi, VP of product and brand communications for PepsiCo Americas Beverages. He will serve as Lincoln communications manager, reporting to Paul Harrison, Ford's global product communications director.

LandColt Trading is bringing Michael Kyle on board as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Kyle is moving to them from Comcast Corporation where he was an executive.

JeffreyGroup has named Claudia Mejia-Haffner MD of the agency's New York office. She previously served as VP of Interpublic Group multicultural firm Axis. Prior to her role at Axis, Mejia-Haffner served as VP at Hill & Knowlton.

BP has appointed Fikret Sen as their new Channel Strategy & Implementation Director.

Manny Anekal, Zynga?s Global Director of Brand Advertising, has left to join Kiip as its new chief operating officer.

Island Def Jam Music Group has been rejoined by Eric Wong as Executive Vice President, Marketing. Wong will oversee the activities of Island Def Jam's Marketing, Digital, Creative, and Artist Development Departments.

AdRoll is joined by Google's Head of North American Sales, Suresh Khanna, to be their Vice President of Sales to oversee expansion and deepening AdRoll's engagement with mid-market advertisers and agencies.
